If the seller removed it from their account, it should be ready to go. What you can do is take the serial number/KIT# and visit https://www.starlink.com/activate
Type in the ID number, and if it lets you proceed with picking a plan and checking out, the dish is free and clear and can be activated on your own account.
If it says "Device already assigned" it means it's still attached to the sellers account (or someone elses).
