The ability to switch from Roam 10GB back to Residential depends on availability for your address. If you aren't currently in a "Sold Out" area, you will be able to switch back to Residential. But if your area suddenly gets waitlisted, you'll be stuck with Roam. But if you have fiber as primary internet, I don't think it's too much of a concern. If you are worried about fiber not working out, you can always keep Residential for a month or so until you know the fiber works well, then switch to Roam 10GB for backup internet.
