Probably, depending on what kinds of activities she will be doing. For most things like streaming and web browsing she might not notice most of the interruptions. But for video calls, it’s probably going to be frustrating.
If she has no decent internet options, I would recommend ordering and trying it out. Temporarily set it up in a clear area, on the roof if possible. Give it at least 4-5 days to settle in, and then evacuate.
Check the outages page and see how many actual interruptions are occurring. It’s possible that with the recent beam switching update, performance will be better than expected, even with nearly 50% obstructions.
If it doesn’t work well, return for a full refund.
